How We Got Started

A story born from lived experience

STORIAS was founded on a simple belief: that the organizations doing the most important work in the world are often the ones least equipped to tell their stories. And that gap, between the impact being made and the visibility those efforts deserve, is exactly where we come in.

Our founder Diana Arias grew up watching how power and resources flow toward those who can articulate their value, and how communities doing extraordinary work often go unrecognized simply because they lack the communications infrastructure to be seen. That observation became a calling.

After a decade working at the intersection of corporate social responsibility, nonprofit communications, and workforce development at organizations like JetBlue, Edelman, and the NY Jobs CEO Council, Diana built STORIAS to give mission-driven organizations access to the same caliber of strategic communications that Fortune 500 companies take for granted.

The name STORIAS reflects both our craft and our DNA: stories, and Arias. A name that has always been about finding a voice and using it.

"Every organization has a story worth telling. We help the ones doing the most important work tell it the best."
— Diana Arias, Founder
